If you are looking for exercise classes in Brighton, look no further. Our group exercise class timetable will have something to suit you. Our classes happen 9 times per week in Woodingdean, Rottingdean, Westdene (Brighton) and Peacehaven . We offer a combination of Women’s Fitness (suitable to challenge all abilities), Trigger Point Pilate's™, Boxing Fit and a class that can be completed sitting down -Move it or Lose it!™. The benefits of each class are many, we chose to offer this combination, to both challenge our attendees, with multi discipline workouts (Womens Fitness) and also to offer an opportunity to relax and centre oneself in (Trigger Point Pilates).

Trigger Point Pilates is a new class, it offers an opportunity to relax and restructure your body. This class uses mat based Pilate's exercises to restructure your posture. This is done by using self applied massage, locating trigger points and releasing them. This class is an excellent opportunity to de-stress, improve posture and can also help with chronic pain conditions. We use a foam roller and prickle balls to assist the connection between mind and body. Join us, you deserve it!

Boxing is a fantastic, fun outdoor, high intensity session which means to alternate between short periods intense exercise followed by lower intensity exercises for recovery. The class often includes: Strikes, foot work and cardio exercises with some games thrown in for good measure. If you are short on time and want to get a real workout done, super quick, this one is just 30 minutes long.

This class is for Women looking to become fitter, healthier and happier. The session lasts 45 minutes, it includes a warm up, full body workout and cool down/ stretch. Our Womens fitness is great fun, with a mix of cardio vascular and strengthening exercises. Exercises often include: fast walking/ jogging, body weight exercises, kettle bells and boxing. All exercises can be modified, to become easier or harder.

This class is for all abilities. Each exercise can be done seated, standing supported (by a chair) or free standing. The session is split into 5 sections: Flexibility, Aerobic (lung fitness), Balance, Strength and games. Taught to music from the 50’s and 60’s, we have great fun and often use resistance bands, pom poms, balls and batons. Join us to put a smile on your face and become part of our chair fitness community!

This session is open to everyone and includes a combination of bodyweight exercises, kettle bells, sand bells and resistance bands (to name a few). Based in the hall at The Deans Youth centre, the space is huge and works really well for games like shadows (using cones), catch and move, the scarf game or the squat game. Come and have a go, it’s a great workout and the fun is FREE.
